Welcome!

Welcome to my art blog. Here I will show new work and archive older things . As you will see as I build this site my work is varied. I enjoy abstract, working with acrylic and mixed media. Pastel, mostly landscapes but sometimes other themes like still life. I also paint whimsical interior scenes in acrylic.
I am frequently commissioned to paint peoples homes, camps, boats, you name it. I will post those things here also. I hope you enjoy and don't forget the hyper links to my gallery web site and Kevin's art blog where you will find his work posted http://kvabbottsartblog.blogspot.com/ .

Hypertufa Pots and Garden Sculpture

Besides making art, gardening and cooking are my other passions. How perfect is this? Hypertufa pots and sculpture. Art for the garden! They make great pots for growing not only flowers but culianry herbs also.

I am enjoying making these organic, earthy pots. It's really a lot of fun. I will continue to experiment and refine my technique and soon offer these for sale at the gallery and maybe at garden shows and farmers markets along with Kevin's trellis's and garden sculpture.
