Over the course of my long career I have gone off in a variety of directions and experimented with different mediums.

My current focus is primarily landscape inspired abstraction. The work is mixed media on paper, canvas or birch panel. I have been fortunate to work with decorators and galleries on many projects for both residential and commercial clients from New York to Florida and points in-between.

I also enjoy plein air landscape painting in pastels and oil.

Hypertufa Pots and Garden Sculpture

Besides making art, gardening and cooking are my other passions. How perfect is this? Hypertufa pots and sculpture. Art for the garden! They make great pots for growing not only flowers but culianry herbs also.

I am enjoying making these organic, earthy pots. It's really a lot of fun. I will continue to experiment and refine my technique and soon offer these for sale at the gallery and maybe at garden shows and farmers markets along with Kevin's trellis's and garden sculpture.

im entering a garden sculpture competition and my entry needs to have a title. i want something catchy but im having trouble thinking of something.
my entry is a large clock with teacups and so i was thinking something like 'Tea Time' or 'Time for Tea' .. then i thought i could write that as "X 4 T' but not sure if anyone would get it, or even if i like it.

Go with it. Titles are sometimes obvious and other times not so much. Trust your own voice. You are the artist.

Debe, you have some great hypertufa containers. I esp like the small tiles. Would you tell me where you can find these?

Debe, great looking containers. Nice job with the colors. I esp like the small ceramic tiles. Can you share your source?

Thanks Michael, We pick them up here and there. Actually funny you should ask. am always looking myself. I also use natural stones/rocks that pick up in stream beds in my travels.

"I consider myself mostly a landscape painter - even my abstract work is based on landscapes, or at least inspired by the natural world. Fields , flowers, trees, the sky - everything I see around me finds it’s way into my painting"
